Cover Reveal: CHOICES by Sydney Lane

Category: Mature YA Contemporary Romance
(appropriate for audiences 17+)
Release Date: TBD
Cover Design: Storm Designs (Sarie Storm)
Fate brought her here, but will her choices destroy her dreams?

Quincy Priest made all the right choices in her small town, black-and-white life. But being perfect is tiring. So. Very. Tiring.

Wanting desperately to step out of her sister's shadow, Quincy jumps at the opportunity to attend college with her best friend. The quiet bookworm with family secrets comes out of her shell. ...But when Quincy meets not one, but two perfect guys, she has to make a choice. In doing so, she might forfeit the relationship she secretly longed to find.

Declan. Sweet, handsome, and perfect. He makes her feel cherished for the first time in her life.

Brody. Sexy, hot, and irresistible. He could tear down her carefully built walls.

Before she can become the woman she wants to be, Quincy will make mistakes. And suffer one unimaginable loss.
“I could stay here forever if you always looked at me just like that.” I don’t understand what he means, but I can’t take my eyes off him. “Everything.” His voice deepens while he looks into my eyes. “I like everything about you, Quince. I like the way those little wisps of hair frame your face. I love your eyes, so deep I get lost i...n them. Those lips I can’t resist. But I like you, Quince. The first time I saw you, I was drawn to you. I knew right then that you would turn my world upside down. It scared the hell out of me, but I knew I’d follow you anywhere.” He just made me feel beautiful, really beautiful, for the first time in my life.
There are no words for that. Instead, I wrap my arms around his neck and roughly kiss him. I twist my fingers in his hair and wonder why I haven’t done that before. Besides his eyes, his hair is the sexiest thing about him. But it’s what he hides on the inside that I so desperately want to see

New Release: ELEMENTAL by Brandon Ax (includes special treat)

Release Date: 4/20/13
Meet Brandon Ax: Website ~ Facebook

Sophia's mother disappeared when she was six, leaving behind a broken father and sleep disturbed by silent terrors. Now twelve years later, the nightmares that plagued her youth have suddenly returned.
With dark creatures occupying her nights and a sense of restlessness consuming her days, all she wants is to finish school and get out of her small town as fast as possible. Everything changes when she is confronted with the realization that the shadowy beings from her dreams are real. The truth of this reality hits hard when someone she loves is killed. It would seem that anyone in their way is disposable.
A mysterious boy named Aiden enters her life bringing with him all sorts of complications. They're drawn to each other, but their connection brings Aiden right into the path of her half-demon nightmares. With her father and several new friends put in the cross-hairs, Sophia must decide whether to let the shadows take her or stand her ground and fight. As the school year steadily moves closer to an end her decision may come with the cost of her life or worse—the lives of those she cares about.

***Special Treat: Characters Interviews***
I was planning to interview the author of Elemental or maybe the main character Sophia, but as a treat today we get to talk to two of the very attractive Elementals themselves. Here with us, we have Aiden and Zander.
I guess I'll talk to you first Aiden, how are you?
I'm doing very well thank you, and yourself?
I'm doing great. So, what is it like to be an Elemental?
Lonely at times, but lately I have felt less alone.
Because of Sophia?
Yes, that would be the reason.
Was it a love at first sight situation or something that has grown between you?
Well I wouldn't want to give it all away. Let's just say my feelings for her have been clear from very early on.
I see, so I hear that being an Elemental comes with some dangers. Care to expand on that?
What can I say? We protect humankind, it's our purpose. That often leads to moments of a life threatening nature. Still most of us see it as an honor to fight for those that can't protect themselves.
Most? Not all then?
Much like humans there are those among us that see a different path. I like to think they are the minority. The truth is at heart some people only ever look out for themselves, no matter what they have been given.
What about you Zander, how do you view the duty of an Elemental?
-cold stare-
Okay Aiden, you can stop giving me the look, I'll play along. Not like anyone will remember us being here in the first place. (Inside joke. RAFO) I view it the same way he does, just with less optimism. I know what resides in the human heart and we all started as human.
That's slightly disconcerting. I have to comment on your eyes, they seem different than a normal person's and while nice to look at, Aiden's seem as normal as can be... (gosh, I'm crushing. . . Zander *sigh*)
Let's just say that what burns inside of me is a bit harder to control than the others.
And do you? Control it I mean? (I'd love to help you...)
I manage. Let's just say if I wasn't in control, you'd know it.
(err.. why am I dying to know it?) -clears throat-
Let's move on. I have to ask about these Dark Ones, are they really as dangerous as I've been made to believe?
Doubtful, unless you have had an up close and personal moment with a demon, you can't really understand their level of danger. Take the worst person you've ever heard of in your life. Take away anything redeeming about them and you'd still rather spend your moments with this person before meeting a Dark One.
Well that does paint a picture. I have to thank you guys for stopping by, it has been enlightening. Can we look forward to seeing you again?
Aiden: It would be my pleasure.
Zander :Let's hope you never have to see us, when that need arises things can get messy.
Well this has been an interesting interview to say the least. If you would like to see more of Aiden and Zander or any of the other motley crew, check out Elemental by Brandon Ax.

Note to the author:
Brandon, I forgive you for using my photograph for your cover without my consent. Since you've allowed me to meet these two hotties guys, we are even ;)

Twenty years ago the Commander came into power and murdered all who opposed him. In his warped mind, the seven deadly sins were the downfall of society. He created the Hole where sinners are branded according to their sins and might survive a few years. At best.
Now LUST wraps around my neck like blue fingers strangling me. I’ve been accused of a crime I didn’t commit and now the Hole is my new home.

Darkness. Death. Violence. Pain.

Now every day is a fight for survival. But I won’t die. I won’t let them win.
The Hole can’t keep me. The Hole can’t break me.
I am more than my brand. I’m a fighter.
My name is Lexi Hamilton, and this is my story.
