Celebrating the New Year!

This hop comes with easy instructions: Sign up, post something to celebrate,
hop around, cheer on others, and bask in warm glow. Full instructions and badge *here.*

I'm celebrating 2014, because so far so good. I can't complain. I came up with a short list of things I intend to do this year, and I wrote it down. Amazing, I know.

This year, I shall be invincible. I might start by writing more, eating healthier (don't roll your eyes), and do the work out thing more seriously. Because let me tell you: December? Oh, I ate it all. I also plan on being there more for my family and friends. My aim is to be that annoying piece of food stuck in their teeth—that they are tired of—but love and enjoy while I'm there.

My expectations are high guys, but keep in mind these are not resolutions. So don't burst my bubble if I'm eating a cupcake while watching TV and turning my phone off so no one bothers me. The point is, its the third day of the year and I feel invincible. Oh no wait, I have a cold…I'm pretty sure I need a break already. Well, when I'm better then, that's when I'll try the invincible thing. Who's with me?

Also, if you're not already tired of me, feel free to check out this week's edition of Coffee Chat. Join me over at Lynda's blog and find out for yourself where I got my material for this post. (Don't judge! If I steal from myself, its not plagiarism. Is it?) (Okay, I tweaked it…just in case.)

    1. Oh but, Alex, they should. They really should. They might not survive, but they still should because it benefits me. :P

  3. So happy you're invincible, Katherine! That means you can do magical things, so think of how impressed everyone will be. Your Cherubs will be completely fascinated with their mommy, too! D

  4. I'm attempting to eat healthier this year, too. I don't imagine I'll be very successful at it. Cupcakes are delicious.

  5. I promised myself to eat healthier and it's not working yet. Had to finish off the cookies first, yikes! I need to exercise. Stay invincible, and it'll get done.

    1. Well, if we don't finish off the goodies before we start, they will just mock us until we fail. Personally, I think that was a great first step lol Let's exercise, we can do this!

  6. It's good to be invincible, even if we're only three days into the new year. May your invincibility last forever.

  7. Being invincible sounds awesome. You have some mighty fine goals set up for 2014. Piece of food in your friends and families teeth - you crack me up.

  8. Wahoo! *high five* Let's be invincible and awesome together. =)

My mantra today is "Just say Yes" -- to anything positive, good, or challenging. Today is all about being awesome because you never know what tomorrow will hold.

    Happy 2014!

  9. I, too, want to eat healthier this year, but I haven't gone grocery shopping yet in 2014, so at the moment it's a lot of digging up whatever I can manage to find in the house...

    Here's to a great 2014!

    1. You do have to make space and finish up all the goodies before you shop for the healthy stuff, so I say you're on the right track :D

  10. Yikes! Sorry you're not feeling well--I hope you kick that cold to the curb soon!

  11. You are so funny! It's hard to be invincible when you have a cold, and I'm not sure I'd want to be the food stuck to someone's teeth, but I'm with you for the rest. Here's to Invincibility in 2014!!

  12. I don't know...I'm not entirely convinced. After all, some crazy lady has ordered me to start learning how to kick really high. Something about the Rockettes Seniors program looking for a few good legs. I'm hoping my hips feel as invincible as my brain.
