The New Art of Storytelling

To understand how storytelling has changed and continues to evolve we need to examine it across all the art forms. In this episode, we discuss storytelling in TV shows and movies—how it has changed—and the impact on novel plots and characters.

I'll share the YouTube link, as it's easier to share on Blogger than the audio file. But below you'll find the links to other options.

  1. If it's changed, I wonder if I'm telling the right way now?

  2. This was one of my favorites, and is certainly worth another listen. We have to constantly evolve the way we approach readers (or movie watchers) or we'll lose them. I always think of those "oldies" DVDs and how slow-moving old cartoons, commercials, and movies feel. The good guys have no flaws, and you have the GET ON WITH IT feel.
